Georgia State football had been on a pretty good roll this Spring but received some bad news on the recruiting trail late this afternoon as a verbal commit has decided to reopen his recruitment.
Running back Malcolm Joseph decommitted from the Panthers. Joseph committed to Georgia State back in April and he now feels he might have been a little bit hasty in that decision. Malcolm let me know that he won't forget Georgia State and they are definitely still in the running. He just wants to check out some other schools.
"I'm hearing a lot of good things from other schools that are putting in work to get me."
The other schools that he likes are Western Kentucky, South Alabama, UT-Chattanooga and Southern University. Western Kentucky offering recently seems to be the reason for the change of heart and they appear to have the edge at the moment.
Joseph says he wants to wait until his season starts to make a firm decision on where he wants to play his college ball.
